between East 38th Street & East 39th Street View Full Building Profile

Carter Horsley
Review of 71 Park Avenue by Carter Horsley

This red-stucco apartment building has a fine midtown location. The mid-block building is located between 38th and 39th Streets, three blocks south of Grand Central Terminal and at the northern end of the Murray Hill neighborhood, which has many handsome side streets.

This 12-story building was erected in 1924 and has 24 condominium apartments. It is slightly setback from the block s building line and has a small, one-step-up entrance. It has a three-story rusticated limestone base, a canopied entrance, and sidewalk landscaping. It has no garage and inconsistent fenestration.
