This handsome, modernist, 7-story building at 651 New York Avenue between Fenimore and Hawthorne streets in Prospect Lefferts Gardens in Brooklyn was erected in 2016 and has 40 condominium apartments. 

It was developed by Hello Living, which is headed by Eli Karp who has built more than a dozen modernist residential buildings in Brooklyn since 2005. 

This building was designed by Werner Morath of Loading Docks Architecture PLLC. 

It is two blocks away from the 2 and 5 subway lines.

Bottom Line

A very attractive building in Prospect Lefferts Gardens in Brooklyn that has a pleasant, crisp, airy look that conjures a Southern beach clime.

Description

All units have very attractive, railed balconies and polished concrete walls. 

The building's street frontage is divided by two vertical reddish wood screen elements in front of the deep balconies in front of five floor-to-ceiling windows for each unit.

Amenities

The building has a roof deck, on-site parking, a fitness center, keyed elevator and bicycle room.

Apartments

Apartments have washers and dryers and kitchens with white lacquer cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. 

The penthouse is a three-bedroom unit with 1,713 square feet of interior space, 865 square feet of balcony space and a 600-square-foot roof terrace. 

Apartment 604 is a three-bedroom unit with 1,380 square feet of interior space and 460 square feet of exterior space. 

Apartment 601 is a two-bedroom unit with 754 square feet of interior space and 178 square feet of outdoor space.
