This 14-story building at 370 Riverside Drive on the northeast corner at 109th Street was erected in 1922 and has 80 co-operative apartments.

It was designed by Schwartz & Gross.

Bottom Line

A handsome pre-war building on Riverside Drive that is convenient to public transportation and Columbia University.


 

Description

A red-brick building with a two-step-up, canopied entrance and sidewalk landscaping.

The first and second floor have two-story window surrounds as do the 13th and 14th floors with the higher windows have arched pediments.

The third and the 12th floors have handsome framed window surrounds with two spandrels between the windows.

There are balconies on the tenth floor on both main façades.

The Riverside Drive façade is bent.

The building has a doorman, a roof deck, storage, and a bicycle room.


 

Apartments

Penthouse C has a studio unit with a 22-foot-long living room with an open kitchen and a Murphy bed and a three-step-up, 26-foot-long south terrace.

Apartment 14D is a three-bedroom unit with a 15-foot-long entry foyer that leads to a 19-foot-long living room that opens onto a 14-foot-long, windowed dining room that is close to the 17-foot-long windowed kitchen.

Apartment 14B is a two-bedroom unit with a 14-foot-wide entry foyer that leads to a 20-foot-long living room, a 20-foot-long, windowed dining room, a 17-foot-loong den. And a 23-foot-long pantry that is next to a 17-foot-long, windowed, eat-in kitchen.
