Review of 54 Riverside Drive by Carter Horsley

This attractive, red-brick building, which has a two-story limestone entrance portal with no canopy on the sidestreet, was erected in 1929 and converted to a cooperative in 1969.

The 16-story building, which has fine views of Riverside Park and the Hudson River, has 81 apartments. The building permits protruding air-conditioners.

The neighborhood is very attractive and Zabar's, the famous food and kitchen store, and other well-known stores are not too far away on Broadway.
