Carter's Review
This attractive, 15-story building has an interesting perforated roofline and was erected in 1920 and converted to a cooperative in 1979. It has 92 apartments.
The brown-brick building has a one-story limestone base and a canopied entrance that leads to a step-up lobby that has rusticated limestone walls. The building has a concierge, some decorative balconies and consistent fenestration and permits protruding air-conditioners.
This is a very pleasant and quiet stretch of West End Avenue that is convenient to public transportation and one block from Riverside Park. Neighborhood shopping is nearby and steadily improving as high-end retailers continue to advance up Broadway.
