Carter's Review
This very elegant, Italian Renaissance palazzo-style apartment building was erected in 1910 and converted to a cooperative in 1982.
The 12-story, mid-block building has only 34 apartments.
It has a three-story, rusticated limestone base and its top three stories are also faced with limestone. The top floor has large, arched windows beneath a large cornice and the building has small nice wrought-iron balconies.
The building, which has no garage and no health club, is half a block from Riverside Park and convenient to excellent public transportation and shopping. There are also many religious institutions and schools nearby.
