This attractive, 11-story building at 440 Washington Street in TriBeCa was erected in 2019 and has 49 rental apartments. 

It was erected by Ponte Equities and designed by OCV Architects. 

It is also known as 270 West Street and 31 Desbrosses Street.  It is two blocks south of Canal Street.

Bottom Line

A pleasant, red, boxy, mid-rise rental apartment building on a cobblestone street in TriBeCa with light-grey accents and some setbacks, some commercial space and two large hanging marquees.

Description

A bulky, red and grey rental apartment building on West Street in TriBeCa with some setbacks and two large hanging marquees.  It has some arched windows on the 8th floor and all windows are multi-paned and have grey metallic spandrels.

 

Amenities

The building has a fitness center designed by The Dogpound, a roof deck, a 24-hour doorman, parking and a residents' lounge.  It permits pets.
