This 8-story apartment building at 87 Chambers Street, which is also known as 71 Reade Street and Reade Chambers in TriBeCa has 18 condominium apartments. 

It was scheduled for completion in 2015.

It was developed by CBSK Ironstate, whose partners are Charles Blaichman, Abram and Scott Shnay, and Michael and David Barry and their projects have included 173 Perry Street, 176 Perry Street, The Urban Glass House at 330 Spring Street, 40 Gansevoort Street designed by Morris Adjmi.

This building was designed by Goldstein, Hill & West Architects.  Selldorf Architects did the interiors and she was the architect of 200 Eleventh Avenue and 10 Bond Street.

With a prime location in TriBeCa, this loft-style building has many amenities and high ceilings.

Apartments have ceilings heights of up to 11 feet and individualized climate control for each room.

Kitchens have white oak plank floors, back-painted glass cabinetry by Eggersmann, Caesarstone countertops and backspashes, Sub-Zero refrigerators, Miele or Gaggenau ranges, and Liebherr wine refrigerators.

Master baths are finished in driftwood gray marble and have Glacier White Corian sinks and Kohler soaking tubs.

Penthouse B is a three-bedroom unit with 2,290 square feet of space and a fireplace and a 736- square-foot terrace.

Penthouse C is a two-bedroom unit with 1,622 square feet, a fireplace and 688 square feet of roof terrace.

Apartment 2B is a three-bedroom unit with 1,935 square feet of space and 236 square feet of garden terrace.

Apartment C on the 2nd and 3rd floors is a one-bedroom unit with 845 square feet of space, 

History

The developers acquired the site for $22 million in 2012 from Fishman Holdings of North America.
