Carter's Review
This pleasant, 20-story, gray-brick, mid-block, cooperative apartment building was erected in 1959 and has 176 apartments.
The building has a three-step-up entrance to a nicely landscaped deck with birch trees, benches, an ashtray stand, and a charming bronze statue of a woman. The building has a long marquee with a short canopy over the steps. It has a doorman, glass entrance doors, discrete air-conditioners, a garage, and a roof deck.
The building is convenient to the United Nations and there are numerous restaurants and stores in the vicinity. There is cross-town bus service on 42nd, 49th and 50th Streets, but subways are a few blocks away.
