Carter's Review
This handsome, 21-story, post-war apartment building has 252 rental apartments.
The beige-brick structure has a one-story polished pink granite base, a canopied entrance, a concierge, some terraces, and is close to the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church and the Family Montessori School. It fronts on Dag Hammarskjold Plaza and is a block away from the United Nations complex along First Avenue.
The building has consistent fenestration, protruding air-conditioners and a roof deck, but no garage, no sidewalk landscaping, no health club and no balconies.
There is good cross-town bus service a couple of blocks to the north and Grand Central Terminal is a couple of blocks to the west. This area has considerable traffic.
