This large gray brick apartment is close to the United Nations and the Beekman Place district. both to the east, to the east Midtown office district to the west. The 19-story building was erected in 1960 and converted to a cooperative in 1981. It has 197 apartments. The doorman building has several terraces. This lively area, which has witnessed considerable luxury apartment construction in recent years, has many restaurants and crosstown buses are nearby. The building is not far from the large and handsome park at the United Nations on First Avenue to the eats and many of the city's most important landmarks such as the Chrysler Building and Grand Central Terminal to the south and west.
