This large, 8-story, apartment building at 101 Bedford Avenue between North 10th and North 11th streets in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn was completed in 2012 and developed by Halycon Management Group LLC and Yoel Sabel.

It has 351 rental apartments and was designed by Karl Fischer.

It is across from McCarren Park.

Bottom Line

A huge mid-rise rental apartment building with many amenities across from the popular McCarren Park with a colorful base and a more attractive dark setback top with balconies.

Description

The U-shaped building has some corner windows and setbacks and a large, landscaped courtyard.  The second-floor windows are arched.

The center section of the façades is light-colored and is flanked by red façades.  The building has an entrance market and its top three floors have dark façades with some balconies with glass railings and some windows with protruding surrounds that angle upwards.  The top two floors are partially setback.

Amenities

The building has a recording studio, a doorman, a roof deck with barbecue,  lounge, a conference and business center, a game room with golf simulator, a library with fireplace, a wine cellar, a 29-seat screening room, an swimming pool and hot tub, a fitness center, a laundry, and parking.  It allows pets.

Apartments

Apartments have floor-to-ceiling windows, wide plank white oak flooring, Cesarstone kitchen countertops and stainless steel kitchen appliances.

Apartment D708 is a two-bedroom unit with a 25-foot-wide living room with a pass-through kitchen, a very large terrace and two balconies.

Apartment D701 is a two-bedroom unit with a 21-foot-wide living room with an open kitchen with an island and a large terrace and a balcony off one of the bedrooms.

Apartment C512 is a two-bedroom unit with an entry foyer next to an open kitchen with an island facing the corner, 18-foot-long living room.

Apartment D613 is a one-bedroom unit with an entry foyer that leads directly into a 15-foot-long home office and an open, pass-through kitchen facing a 23-foot-long living room.

Apartment D504 is a one-bedroom unit with an entry foyer that leads past an open kitchen with a pass-through facing the 27-foot-long living room with a balcony.

Apartment C613 is a studio unit with an open kitchen, a 14-foot-long living room and a 12-foot-long home office.
