Carter's Review
This four-story residential condominium building at 60 Maspeth Avenue in the East Williamsburg section of Brooklyn has a sliced-and-diced look that is distinctive and attractive, especially for such a relatively small building.
It was designed by Robert M. Scarano Jr., and has silver-color piers with inset and angled windows.
Apartments have very tall ceilings and many have mezzanine levels.
The developer was Maspeth Plaza LLC of which Isaac Schwartz is a partner.
The façade consists of brick masonry and metal panels and glass railings make the Juliet balconies appear smaller.
The 23-unit building has a computerized video doorman, a roofdeck, on-site parking, stainless steel kitchen appliances, a courtyard and storage.
It is across the street from another new and handsome condominium at 57-59 Maspeth Avenue.
The building is two blocks from a subway and one block from Cooper Park.
