It is also known as The Garnett and 153 South 5th Street.

Bottom Line

A vigorous mid-block, mid-rise building one block away from the Williamsburg Bridge in Brooklyn.

Description

Despite its relative modest size, the building has a feeling of monumentality with its many balconies and its rooftop “crags” and “aeries.”

Most apartments in the brick building has at least one balcony or terrace.

The building’s lobby spaces are a mix of wood panels, exposed electrical piping for lights and modernistic furniture and makes an attempt to relate futuristically to the area’s industrial past.

Amenities

The building has a doorman, a gym, a laundry, parking and several lounges.

It also has a hopscotch court on the roof, which has two pergolas.
