215 East 80th Street: Review and Ratings

between Third Avenue & Second Avenue View Full Building Profile

Carter Horsley
Review of 215 East 80th Street by Carter Horsley

This attractive, 12-story, mid-block apartment building is a condominium with 147 units.

This white-brick building has a doorman, an entrance marquee with a red marble entrance surround, a three-step-up entrance and a three-step-up lobby.

The building has protruding air-conditioners, consistent fenestration, sidewalk landscaping, and a garage, but no balconies, and no health club.

There is excellent local shopping and good cross-town bus service on 79th Street.

Lenox Hill hospital is three blocks to the south on Lexington Avenue where there is also a subway station. It is on an attractive street as is the Hungarian Baptist Church.
