This handsome, 12-story rental building at 260 West 26th Street on the northwest corner of Eighth Avenue is known as Chelsea Park. 

It was developed by Artimus, of which Eytan Benyamin is a principal, whose other Manhattan projects include, in Harlem, SoHa118, Manhattan Court, Susan’s Court, and Brownstone Lane 1 and 2, and, in East Harlem, 5th on the Park at 1481 Fifth Avenue, and, in Chelsea, 401 West 25th Street. 

The building, which is also known as 308-312 Eighth Avenue, was designed by GF55 Architects. 

It has 207 apartments.

Bottom Line

A very handsome rental development in a prime Chelsea location not far from the High Line Elevated Park.

Description

The symmetrical building has a dark building façade on its lower floors and a light-colored brick façade on its setback tower.  

Its windows are attractively organized in vertical frames and there are corner windows at Eighth Avenue and balconies in the centers of the façades. 

The building has a double-height lobby. 

The LEED development has a monitored boiler and LED lighting.

The building has about 15,000 square feet of retail space.
