This six-story building at 79 Bridge Street was converted into condominium apartments in 2003 by Kay Bridge Properties and the Howard Klaus Partnership.

It is known as The Bridges and was the first luxury loft condominium apartment project in the Vinegar Hill section of Brooklyn.

It has 37 apartments and the conversion was designed by Robert M. Scarano.

The building has a courtyard, a roof deck, wrought-iron railings, exposed brick walls, stainless steel kitchen appliances, marble kitchen countertops and maple kitchen cabinets, and marble baths.

The conversion added setback two floors with balconies to the former factory building, which has a garage and commercial gallery spaces.

It has washers and dryers on each floor, multi-paned windows, protruding air-conditoners, and there are storage rooms and video security.
