Carter Horsley's Review of 33 Fifth Avenue

Carter Horsley's Building Review
"This quite handsome, Georgian-style, 16-story apartment building was erected in 1923 and converted to a cooperative in 1985. It has 60 apartments. The building is in a very prime and elegant Lower Fifth Avenue location. Across the avenue on the north side of Tenth Street is the historic Episcopal Church of the Ascension with its charming gardens and important interiors by Augustus St. Gaudens and John LaFarge. Its location is convenient to not only Greenwich Village but also the Union Square District with their many restaurants, stores and boutiques. Cross-town buses run on Ninth and Eighth Streets and many different subway lines are within a few blocks." Read Carter's Full Review
