Marketing has started for the Carriage House, an 8-story, residential condominium apartment building at 159 West 24th Street in Chelsea.

The building will have 24 apartments and 8 garage spaces.

All its windows above the first floor on the street have flowerboxes.

The building, which is between the Avenue of the Americas and Seventh Avenue, was erected in 1901 as a stable and later converted to a garage.

Michael L. Schmitt is the architect for the attractive conversion.

Gustavo Martinez is the designer for the project.

159 West 24th Street LLC of which Eamon Roche is a partner is the developer.

The building has many multipaned windows, sidewalk landscaping and lighting sconces.

The mid-block building is convenient to public transportation and close to the Flatiron District.

There are many stores and restaurants nearby.
