Completed in 1983, Gateway Plaza was the first residential building in Battery Park City. It consists of three 34-story towers, two seven-story towers, and one six-story tower, all of which are surrounded by landscaped plazas. The complex was designed by Jack Brown and developed by LeFrak Organization, Fisher Brothers, and the Olnick Organization.
Amenities at Gateway Plaza include attended lobbies in each building, an 8,000-square-foot fitness center, a lounge with courtyard access, coworking space, a children's playroom, and a rooftop terrace with outdoor pool. It is located in close proximity to Brookfield Place, Westfield World Trade Center, and popular local restaurants. Public transportation options include the Oculus transportation hub and the Battery Park City ferry terminal.
