This handsome, 7-story apartment building at 740 Dekalb Avenue between Marcy and Tompkins avenues in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn was erected in 2016 and has 37 rental apartments.

It was developed by Level One Holdings and designed by Isaac and Stern. Brent M. Porter was the architect of record.

This nicely proportioned, mid-block, mid-rise building in Bedford-Stuyvesant has garage spaces for more than half its units.

The beige-brick building is on a former basketball court for the George H. Murray Christian Academy that is run by the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

The top two floors are partially setback.

Amenities

The building has a garage, a fitness center, a roof deck with pergolas, a billiards room, bicycle storage, a residents’ lounge and a 24-hour virtual doorman.
