The Dekalb is in a part of Bedford-Stuyvesant known for brownstones, churches, tree lined streets, restaurants, bars, shops, and coffee shops, with Fort Greene Park, BAM, Pratt, and Barclays Center in the surrounding area. The Myrtle-Willoughby Avenues station serves the G train, and the Myrtle Avenue station serves the J, M, and Z trains.
