386 Columbus Avenue: Review and Ratings

between West 78th Street & West 79th Street View Full Building Profile

Carter Horsley
Review of 386 Columbus Avenue by Carter Horsley

This attractive, 26-story apartment tower overlooks Manhattan Square and the American Museum of Natural History and Central Park and has only 22 apartments.

The beige-brick building has a concierge, a canopied entrance and a nice, bright lobby. The building has no garage, no balconies, no health club, no roof deck and no sidewalk landscaping.

There is excellent cross-town bus service and a subway station is nearby at 81st Street and Central Park West. There are many restaurants and boutiques along Columbus Avenue and the architecture of most of the buildings surrounding the Natural History museum is very impressive.
