Carter Horsley
Review of 211 West 71st Street by Carter Horsley

This handsome, red-brick, 16-story apartment building was erected in 1985 as a condominium and has 58 apartments.

The building has a one-story limestone base, a canopied entrance with a concierge, consistent fenestration, discrete air-conditioners, spiked sidewalk landscaping, a roof deck and a garage.

It has some balconies, no fireplaces, and no health club.

This is a central Upper West Side location that is convenient to the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts a few blocks to the south and there is an express subway station is at 72nd Street and Broadway. Donald Trump's Riverside South luxury apartment complex is to the west as are some very attractive rows of townhouses. Riverside Park is one block to the north and west.

There is excellent local shopping on Broadway and the West End Day School is nearby.
