Carter’s Review

"This quite attractive, 6-story, mid-block building was erected in 1899 and is a condominium with 29 apartments.

The 92nd Street "Y," one of the city's leading cultural centers, is nearby on Lexington Avenue and this area has many private schools and religious institutions. There is good public transportation nearby on 96th Street. There are numerous restaurants and food stores along Madison Avenue and Central Park is only a block-and-a-half away."

Broker & Buyer Comments

This "impeccably maintained" 1899 gem stands as the "only prewar condo in Carnegie Hill," offering residents a coveted address in one of Manhattan's most "distinguished neighborhoods." The six-story elevator building enjoys a "prime location" just "three blocks from Central Park," surrounded by "charming" continental restaurants and specialty shops. The area's "educational prestige" is evident with Dalton and Spence nearby, while the building's condo status offers "welcome flexibility" for owners. Part-time super provides building oversight in this "historic treasure."
