Review of 101 Central Park West by Carter Horsley

This handsome, 17-story, red-brick apartment building at 101 Central Park West between 70th and 71st Street was erected in 1929 and designed by Schwartz & Gross, whose other Central Park West buildings include the Art Deco-style 55 and 336.

It was developed by Abraham Bricken whose other projects in the city included 1185 Park Avenue, also designed by Schwartz & Gross, and numerous office buildings in the Garment Center.
