Rising majestically into the Manhattan skyline, 520 Fifth Avenue is poised to become the tallest residential building on Fifth Avenue, soaring 88 stories, 1,000 feet tall. Inspired by the architectural visions of Hugh Ferris and the grandeur of nearby Beaux-Arts-style landmarks like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, the supertall tower's architects, Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), have envisioned a gracefully tiered silhouette adorned with a façade of glazed terracotta arches framing magnificent ten-foot by ten-foot windows.
The reverential exterior is beautifully complemented by warm, richly modern interiors designed by AD 100 designer Vicky Charles of Charles & Co. The 100 one- to four-bedroom residences occupy the upper 40 stories, offering homes with breathtaking river-to-river views of the Manhattan skyline and an iconic front-and-center perspective of the Empire State Building.
Crafted with the finest materials, these residences feature European-inspired mosaics, exquisite millwork, and richly veined stone, creating timeless spaces that are both elegant and evocative. Additional highlights include great rooms with triple exposures and private terraces in select units, ceiling heights exceeding 14 feet, 7-inch white oak wide-plank floors, and marble baths with radiant-heated floors.
Developed by New York-based Rabina, the mixed-use tower is anticipating occupancy in 2026. The building will feature retail and dining near street level, offices on floors 5-28, and residential condos on floors 31-69, culminating in five full-floor penthouses on floors 63-69. At the pinnacle, a residents-only amenity floor will offer a lounge, game room, dining room, library, and a glass-walled solarium.
In December 2025, private club Moss opened at 520 Fifth Avenue, spanning five stories and featuring interior design by Vicky Charles. Wellness offerings include a two-story fitness center, a Pilates studio, a pickleball/half basketball court, a Turkish-style steam room, spa treatment rooms, and a longevity clinic. Social amenities include a game room, a podcast studio/DJ booth, four private event rooms, a library bar, jazz piano lounge Lil's, and restaurant Babette.
In September 2025, financial services company Texas Capital announced that it would be relocating its New York City office to 520 Fifth Avenue. The firm signed a lease for 6,697 square feet on the 28th floor, where employees will enjoy city views through oversized arched windows, high ceilings, and access to private outdoor space.
In July 2025, development firm Rabina announced that the first office leases were signed for 520 Fifth Avenue. Tenants include private equity firm Ancient, investment firm JAB Holding Company, and a biotechnology hedge fund.
The offices have magnificent arched windows, as can be seen throughout the building, and will enjoy private terraces and loggias. The office signings come as the apartments reach over 95% sold.
520 Fifth Avenue has officially topped out, with 72% of condo units already in contract and the first penthouse, PH75, signed at an asking price of $11.95M. The 1,002-foot tall tower's seven penthouses have great rooms designed to highlight stunning southeast views of the Empire State Building, while bedrooms offer picturesque vistas of the Hudson River. Residential move-ins are expected to commence next summer, and the building’s office space is set to be unveiled in January 2025.
