This attractive, 12-story building at 2211 Third Avenue between 120th and 121st Streets in East Harlem and was erected in 2017 and has 108 rental apartments of which 22 are "affordable." 

It is known as Hap Ten and was developed by HAP Investments LLC. 

It was designed by Karl Fischer and Makooi. 

It is close to HAP One at 419 East 117th Street, HAP Two NY at 2338 Second Avenue and HAP Nine at 240 East 117th Street. 

It is also close to a Costco store.

Bottom Line

A sedate and attractive, grey-brick, mid-rise building on Third Avenue in East Harlem has good amenities and is not far from Costco.

Description

The grey-brick building has several setbacks and its top three floors have metallic façades. 

There is a bandcourse above the first floor and a string course above the second floor. 

Many apartments have balconies. 

The building has ground floor retail including a supermarket.

The building has a doorman, a bicycle room, a roof deck, a fitness center, a garage, storage and a live-in superintendent.

Apartment 6M is a two-bedroom unit with a long entry foyer that leads to a 28-foot-long living/dining room with an open kitchen.  One of the bedrooms has a balcony. 

Apartment 6B is a one-bedroom unit with an entry foyer next to the open, corner kitchen and a 26-foot-long living/dining room. 

Apartment 6L is a one-bedroom unit with a 24-foot-long living/dining room with a kitchen with a breakfast bar and a 7-foot-wide balcony. 

Apartment 6C is a studio unit with an entry foyer and a 16-foot-long living/dining room with a balcony and an open kitchen.
