HAP Ten is a 12 story East Harlem rental completed in 2017 with 108 apartments, including 22 affordable units. Its gray brick façade rises through several setbacks, with metallic cladding on the upper three floors and horizontal courses marking the lower levels. Karl Fischer and Makooi designed the building for HAP Investments LLC.
Many apartments open to private balconies or terraces, while floor-to-ceiling windows and high ceilings shape the interiors. Open kitchens and long combined living and dining rooms recur in the layouts, and apartments have in-unit washer and dryers.
The building has an attended lobby with concierge service, a seventh floor fitness center with a terrace, and common outdoor areas on the second, eighth, and twelfth floors, including a rooftop terrace. Other services include resident storage, a bike room, mail room, on-site parking, and a live-in superintendent.
HAP Ten is at 2211 Third Avenue between East 120th and 121st Streets, with a supermarket at ground level. The 4, 5, and 6 trains stop at 125th Street and Lexington Avenue, while the 6 train also stops at 116th Street and Lexington Avenue.
