Historic 1914 Financial District landmark, once Manhattan's seventh-tallest building, reimagined by RXR Realty. Features 21 CetraRuddy-designed residences with modern amenities including bike storage and residents' lounge.
When 61 Broadway was completed in 1914, it was the seventh-tallest building in Manhattan. It was long known as the Adams Express Building in honor of its longtime tenant, and Chase National Bank leased the entire ground floor.
In 2014, developer RXR Realty bought the building for $330 million. In January 2026, the developer filed permits to convert the ninth floor to 21 residential units with interiors by CetraRuddy and access to amenities like a bike room and residents' lounge.
