Originally developed by Kraus Enterprises as The Embassy, the project was taken over by Crossland Savings in foreclosure in 1990, with Sterling Equities retained to complete and market the building. The beige brick tower rises from a three story base with three setbacks, distinguished by its numerous six sided balconies and large corner bay windows, with the base topped by pediments featuring broad rectangular openings. The marble lobby is crowned by a glass pyramid dome.

The Pinnacle Club, the building's amenity floor, spans 12,500 square feet across the full width and length of the building. It includes a 60 foot indoor lap pool, health club with sauna, steam room, and whirlpool, fitness classes including yoga and Zumba, a billiards room, children's playroom and playground, screening room, business center, banquet room, residents' lounge, wine cellar, and landscaped gardens with a walking path and sundeck. The building has 24 hour doorman and concierge service and valet parking.
