Carter's Review

This attractive, 11-floor building at 160 East 23rd Street between Lexington and Third avenues was built in 2010 and has 17 condominium apartments.  It is known as Gramercy 23. 

The developer, Frank Ng, bought the vacant two-story building on the lot in 2007 from Sandy Squiteri for $5.3 million and sales were launched by 160 Realty Development LLC in 2014. 

Michael Kang was the architect. 

The building has ground floor retail.

Bottom Line

A pleasant, modern, mid-block, mid-rise building with a roof deck in the vicinity of Gramercy Park with good transportation.

Description

The building has a modern glass façade framed by narrow masonry piers.

Amenities

The building has a roof deck, balconies, washers and dryers in-unit, an intercom and a virtual doorman. 

Apartments

Floors 2 through 9 have two apartments and the rest are floor-through units.

The penthouse is a two-bedroom unit with a 10-foot-wide home office and a 21-foot-wide living room with a 10-foot-wide, open kitchen. 

Two-bedroom units on the front of the building has 17-foot-long living room and enclosed 7-foot-long kitchens.
