The landmarked dark red brick façade is organized around two central bays of bay windows, with a limestone base, marble lunettes, stringcourses and a cornice. The block lies between Washington Square Park and Union Square; West 4th Street station serves the A, C, E, B, D, F and M trains, while Union Square serves the 4, 5, 6, L, N, Q, R and W.
