A new 7-story mixed-use building bringing 39 rental apartments to Greenwich Village's historic Sixth Avenue corridor. Features ground-floor retail, an art gallery, fitness room, and outdoor recreation space.
The Carmine is a seven-story boutique condominium located at 307 Sixth Avenue in the Greenwich Village Historic District. It replaces two vacant low-rise structures, and its Landmarks-approved design features a red brick façade that nods to the neighborhood's heritage.
All 16 two- to three-bedroom residences, including penthouses, feature oversized windows, natural materials, and custom kitchens with Douglas Fir and ebonized oak millwork paired with Sydney Sunset and Nero Black marble. Many residences have private outdoor space.
Amenities at The Carmine include full-time doorman service, a sculptural planted courtyard, a pet wash station, a fitness center, and private office suites. It is located in close proximity to Washington Square Park, the IFC Center, popular Greenwich Village dining, retail, and nightlife, and the West 4th Street A/C/E and B/D/F/M trains.

In early May 2025, permits were filed for a seven-story mixed-use building to replace a pair of low-rise structures at 307-309 Sixth Avenue in Greenwich Village. The new building will include retail space and an art gallery on the ground floor, 39 apartments on top, and residential amenities like a cellar-level fitness center and an outdoor recreation area. The permits were filed about a year after the Landmarks Preservation Commission approved the new project, but demolition permits for the old buildings have not yet been filed.
