Carter's Review

This 11-story, red-brick building at 130 Lenox Avenue between 115th and 116th streets in Harlem has 240 apartments.

It was erected in 1999 and is a co-operative.

It was built by HPD and designed by Greenberg Farrow.

 

Bottom Line

This attractive and bulky red-brick, mid-rise building on Lenox Avenue at 116th Street gas many apartments and quite a few amenities and shares the block with a subway station.

Description

The building has a one-story rusticated stone base and a thin bandcourse above the second floor. 

The building has setbacks above the 6th and 8th floors.

It has a canopied entrance and discrete air-conditioners.

Amenities

The building has a full-time doorman, a concierge, a live-in superintendent, a children’s playroom, a courtyard, community recreation facilities, storage and parking.

Apartments

Apartment 627 is a three-bedroom unit with an entry foyer next to the 10-foot-wide dining room that opens onto the 16-foot-long living room and the 8-foot-long, pass-through kitchen. 

Apartment 906 is a three-bedroom unit with an entry foyer next to the 9-foot-wide dining area adjacent to the enclosed 8-foot-long kitchen and the 15-long living room.  There is a 12-foot-wide terrace off the master bedroom. 

Apartment 916 is a two-bedroom unit with a large entry foyer and hall next to the enclosed 8-foot-long kitchen, the 12-foot-wide living room, the 7-foot-wide dining area and the 14-foot-long work room.

Apartment 233 is a two-bedroom unit with a 16-foot-long living room and an 11-foot-wide dining area next to a pass-through kitchen.  The unit has a large patio.
