Overview of 60 Park Terrace West

60 Park Terrace West is a 1939 co-op in Inwood and part of Park Terrace Gardens, a five building complex arranged around landscaped private gardens. The nine story building contains 78 apartments and was organized as a cooperative in 1985.

Apartments preserve a strong Art Deco vocabulary, with sunken living rooms, beamed ceilings, oak herringbone floors, entry or dining foyers, built in shelving, and generous storage recurring in multiple layouts. Many homes have windowed kitchens and corner rooms with two exposures. Larger layouts often face east toward the private gardens and west toward Inwood Hill Park, bringing both morning and afternoon light as well as cross ventilation.

The complex centers on private gardens and has common roof terraces with barbecue grills and views toward Inwood Hill Park. Services include a concierge, on-site management, a live-in superintendent, and a first floor laundry room. High speed internet is covered by maintenance, and the co-op is pet friendly.

Inwood Hill Park is close by, with wooded trails, athletic fields, waterfront paths, and the restored wetlands of Muscota Marsh. Isham Park provides another nearby green space and hosts a Saturday farmers market.

Sales History

Price/Room (Est)

Why are we displaying the estimated price per room?

For some co-ops, instead of price per square foot, we use an estimate of the number of rooms for each sold apartment to chart price changes over time. This is because many co-op listings do not include square footage information, and this makes it challenging to calculate accurate square-foot averages.

By displaying the price per estimated room count, we are able to provide a more reliable and consistent metric for comparing sales in the building. While we hope that this gives you a clearer sense of price trends in the building, all data should be independently verified. All data provided are only estimates and should not be used to make any purchase or sale decision.
