Description of The Bond at 46-20 11th Street

This seven-story building known as The Bond at 46-20 11th Street in Long Island City–the neighborhood that will soon be home to a new Amazon HQ–began life as a two-story warehouse like much of the industrial waterfront neighborhood that surrounds it. Architect Raymond Chan helmed the building’s conversion two a brick-and-glass mid-rise condominium residence with 42 apartments, in collaboration with Edge 2 Architecture, who finessed the interiors. Apartments have high ceilings, oak floors and chef's kitchens with marble-like quartz countertops and Bosch appliances. There are washer/dryers in each unit, smart door locks and some apartments offer private outdoor space. Amenities include an entertainment lounge, a fitness center, an outdoor patio, garage parking and a bike room. The E, M, 7 and G subway lines stop nearby ad the  East River Ferry landing is a mere three blocks away. It’s a short walk to the East River waterfront and near Hunter's Point South Park. MoMA PS1, one of the city’s most innovative cultural destinations, as well as neighborhood favorites like Cyclo, Mu Ramen and LIC Market are all within a few blocks’ walk.
