The wave of new development continues to wash onto the Greenpoint waterfront. At 44 Kent Street between Greenpoint Avenue and West Street, a 44-unit rental building topped off construction. Designed by Nataliya Donskoy’s ND Architecture & Design, the long and low structure rises five floors and is distinguished by an energetic façade made up of wood panels, solid white areas and balconies. Inside will be 44 rental units and 10,000 square-feet of retail space along two lower floors. According to ND Architecture’s page, the apartments will average 770 square feet. The developers are Moishe and Pinny Loketch of the Loketch Group

44 Kent will join a growing collection of high-end developments taking shape in the area that includes the Greenpoint at 21 India Street and 26 West Street.
