Plans for Solil Management's new Tribeca rental building at 86 Warren Street have just been approved. The parking lot site, between West Broadway and Greenwich Street, will give way to a 12-story, 40-unit building. The Real Deal published a story when permits were first filed last August confirming Solil Management are the developers. Solil controls the assets of the late real estate mogul Sol Goldman and the project is one of their rare ground-up construction developments says the magazine.
George Schieferdecker, a partner at BKSK Architects is listed as the architect of record. BKSK has been responsible for numerous projects in Tribeca including Artisan Lofts at 143 Reade Street and HFZ's 11 Beach Street. 86 Warren's amenities will include a gym and roof deck. Grocer Whole Foods, Washington Market Park and PS 234 Independence School are located very close to the site.
