South Brooklyn's tallest luxury tower is on the horizon of Sheepshead Bay. The luxury condominium is officially addressed at 1524 Sheepshead Bay Road but will be marketed under the name 1 Brooklyn Bay. The 30-story high-rise will deliver 56 condo residences to the low-scale area —all of which will be privy to scenic vistas stretching across the Atlantic Ocean, the New York Harbor, and the Manhattan and Brooklyn skylines.
Designed by internationally renowned architects, Perkins Eastman, the luxury tower is being developed by Muss Development in collaboration with AvalonBay. Upon completion, it will include upscale units in virtually every layout imaginable: One-, two-, and three-bedroom residences are all available in addition to the pair of four-bedroom penthouses that will crown the tower's 30th floor. Muss already began securing contracts, earlier this year —though we anticipate the task won't be difficult, given the building's unparalleled views.

In a press statement, Director of Stribling Marketing Associates, Steve Rutter, said: “In a market in need of high-end residential offerings, 1 Brooklyn Bay is a unique property that completely redefines what is possible for Sheepshead Bay.” He added: “With this project, Muss is providing a level of luxury living with an amenities package that is simply unavailable anywhere else in the area."

Not many details are available regarding the high-end condominium building, though the sales gallery is slated to open in Spring 2017. Showings will be held at an adjacent space to the residential property, at 1600 Sheepshead Bay Road. What we do know is that residences will encompass 11' ceiling and expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows to frame the unobstructed views of the Sheepshead Bay Marine. Lavishly-designed interiors will feature kitchens outfitted with Viking Appliances, Sub-Zero refrigerators, and custom Italian millwork.
Avaon-Brooklyn-Bay The lower floors of the building will be comprised of rentals and will be known as Avalon Brooklyn Bay
Residences will begin on the 20th floor, leaving a whopping 2.5 acres of amenities, including an outdoor swimming pool, bocce court, barbecue pits, and a dog run. The elegantly-designed lobby will be fully attended, also providing access to the communal lounge. Residents will also get to partake in communal activities at the 2,500-square-foot fitness center or secure convenient spaces to the parking lots available for purchase.
The tower's location will no doubt pique the interest of many Brooklyners, since the neighborhood's close-knit feel community presents many opportunities for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Residents won't have to travel far to enjoy the area's scenic marina, nor the borough's popular beaches. 1 Brooklyn Bay is also a mere steps from multiple transportation options, including the B and Q subway lines; lucky residents will be able to easily travel to Manhattan Beach via the nearby Ocean Avenue Pedestrian Bridge.
