Vernon Tower at 31-43 Vernon Boulevard, an 8-story mixed-use building on the border of Astoria and Long Island City, is nearly complete and will be ready for occupancy by the end of this year. The building will hold 105 residences ranging from studios to two-bedrooms, and 1,500 square feet of retail space. Amenities include a gym, hi-tech security system, a thoughtfully designed lobby, 24-hour doorman and concierge, landscaped rooftop, shuttle service, and energy efficient systems.

The waterfront property is located across the street from the Socrates Sculpture Park; other arts and cultural institutions (like the Welling Court Mural Project) are also nearby, as well as a variety of restaurants, parks, and shops. Michael Heletz of Excel Development Group is the developer, and PACS Architecture is the building's designer.
