Hudson Landing is the redevelopment of the state-owned parcel of land at 621 West 45th Street, which is currently being used as a parking lot for the Intrepid Museum. A joint venture between The Gotham Organization, Fisher Brothers, and MURAL Real Estate has been tapped to develop the project, and FXCollaborative was chosen as the architect.
A request for proposals was issued in February 2026, and the winning proposal calls for two connected towers containing a total of 1,127 apartments, about 338 of which would be affordable to households earning between 40 and 130 percent of the Area Median Income. The project will also include 108 for-sale condos, and 28 of these will be designated affordable.
In addition to the new housing, the project calls for new retail space, replacement parking for the Intrepid Museum, a new Intrepid Concourse that will expand the museum's presence eastward, and Intrepid Park, a 9,800-square-foot landscaped public open space connected to the sky bridge.

Governor Hochul announced the winning proposal to redevelop 621 West 45th Street, a site currently being used as a parking lot for the Intrepid Museum across the street. It will be developed by a joint venture between The Gotham Organization, Fisher Brothers, and MURAL Real Estate, and FXCollaborative has been named as the architect. The proposal calls for two connected residential towers containing a total of 1,127 new housing units. These will include 338 permanently affordable apartments serving households earning between 40 and 130 percent of the Area Median Income, as well as 108 for-sale condos, 28 of which will be affordable.
In addition to the new housing, the proposal calls for new retail, replacement bus parking for the Intrepid Museum, a 22,000-square-foot eastward expansion of the Intrepid Museum's campus, and Intrepid Park, an approximately 9,800-square-foot public park connected to the sky bridge. As the site was historically part of a manufactured gas plant, the team has committed to remediating the site to state Brownfield Cleanup Program standards before starting construction.
