The Colosseum is one of New York's few buildings with a major curved façade, anchoring the west end of 116th Street along with the Paterno building across the street. Both buildings were designed by Schwartz & Gross, featuring unique curves that provide an interesting perspective for Columbia University's main entrance gateway and significantly widen the intersection.
