This 31-story mid-block tower at 325 Lexington Avenue between 38th and 39th Streets in Murray Hill was erected in 2014 and has 125 condominium apartments.

It was developed by Carmel Partners and designed by H. Thomas O’Hara. 

Povero and Company did the interiors.

Bottom Line

With very dramatic views to the north of the great Chrysler, Chanin and former Socony-Mobil buildings and the Empire State Building to the south from many apartments, this glass tower is close to Grand Central Terminal and its fine food court.

Description

The building rises from a 7-story base on the avenue and its setback, glass-clad tower is then cantilevered slightly to the north.

Amenities

The building has a 24-hour doorman, a roof deck and a gym designed by The Wright Fit.

Apartments

Apartments have five-and-a-half-inch wide walnut plank floors and halogen recessed lighting and bright white windowsills.   Kitchen have quartz counterops and stainless steel appliances from Liebherr, Bertazzoni and Bosch. 

Bathrooms have Italian Calcutta marble, walnut cabinetry and rain showerheads.

The building has two full-floor penthouses private terraces and living rooms with marble fireplaces.  The units also have with windowed eat-in kitchens with double ovens, microwave drawers and Sub-Zero under-counter wine coolers.

Residence C on floors 22 through 28 is a two-bedroom unit with 1,118 square feet and a long entry foyer that leads to a 25-foot-long living room next to a 9-foot-long enclosed kitchen.

Residence A on floors 10 through 21 is a one-bedroom unit with 643 square feet with a 20-foot-long living/dining room with an open kitchen.

Residence B is a one-bedroom unit with 794 square feet and a 24-foot-living/dining room with an 8-foot-long open kitchen alcove.

Residence C is a studio unit on floors 4 through 8 with 563 square feet with a 12-foot-long study across from an open kitchen and a 16-foot-long living/dining room.
