Herts expanded the house to five stories and refashioned the façade in limestone adding Beaux Arts and neo-Classical elements. Occupied by many of New York's most notable families, the home has appeared in society pages throughout its history and even hosted Grace Kelly. It is situated mid-block between Fifth and Madison Avenues and close to Central Park, Museum Mile, high-end hotels, chic boutiques, and fine dining.
