Carter Horsley's Review of The Alameda

Carter Horsley's Building Review
"This very handsome, 13-story, apartment building was erected in 1914. It is a cooperative with 75 units.

The building has a nice rusticated one-story base with a canopied, one-step-up entrance, impressive balconies, three bandcourses and consistent fenestration. It has a doorman, sidewalk landscaping and protruding air-conditioners, but no cornice. Its sidestreet retail space is occupied by Caf¿ Edgar." Read Carter's Full Review
