Overview of 72 Mercer Street

72 Mercer Street is a boutique condominium designed by Traboscia Roiatti Architects and developed by Broadway Partners LLC, completed in 2006. The building runs through the block between Spring and Broome Streets, rising seven stories on Mercer and six on Broadway, with just eight residences total. The site has a storied history, previously occupied by a cast iron structure from the late 1880s until the 1950s when it was destroyed by fire and replaced by a parking lot. The contemporary design features a perforated cornice on Mercer Street that blends seamlessly with SoHo's historic cast iron architecture. Notable residents have included Mike Myers.

The building offers two and three bedroom layouts with loft style proportions. Two bedroom units range from 2,133 to 2,142 square feet with soaring 11 foot plus ceilings and private outdoor space, including 733 square foot terraces for second floor units and balconies for upper floors.
