Williamsberry is a 2018 South Williamsburg condominium that combines new development with loft conversion space in a former factory. Designed by Paris Forino, the building retains an industrial vocabulary in its residential lofts, including exposed columns and beams, while introducing contemporary interiors across 63 residences. The collection ranges from studios through four bedroom apartments, along with penthouses and two Skyhouses.
Loft proportions, high ceilings, and expansive windows are recurring elements, with many apartments oriented toward the Williamsburg Bridge, the Empire State Building, water, or the landscaped courtyard. Apartments commonly have wide plank white oak floors, custom built in cabinetry, stone kitchen counters, marble and mosaic bathroom finishes, private elevator landings, and in unit laundry. The layouts also include residences with multiple exposures and open living spaces, reinforcing the building’s conversion character without sacrificing newer construction details.
The building has an attended lobby, doorman and concierge service, a fitness center, a rooftop lounge and furnished roof deck, a courtyard garden with a fire pit and indoor lounge, resident and cold storage, a bike room, and pet grooming facilities. The courtyard was designed by landscape architect Steven Dubner, and the property also has a live in superintendent and virtual doorman.
Williamsberry is a few blocks from the East River Ferry landing and three blocks from Domino Park, whose six acres include a waterfront esplanade, dog run, playground, bocce court, and food concessions. Restaurants and destinations in the surrounding area include Diner, Marlow & Sons, Aska, Barano, Whole Foods, Equinox, SoulCycle, and Baby’s All Right.
