Carter's Review

This attractive, Art Deco-style building with a front lightwell at 75 Prospect Park Southwest between 10th and 11th avenues is 6-stories tall and has 52 co-operative apartments.  It was erected in 1936.

It is next to a very similar building at 70 Prospect Park Southwest that has a central courtyard and a more formal entrance.

Both buildings face a southern edge of Prospect Park near several ballfields.

The building is about a fifth of a mile from an F subway station.

Bottom Line

An attractive, Art Deco-style, mid-rise, corner building on Prospect Park Southwest across from the park.

Description

The white brick building has rusticated, pink-brick banding above the ground floor that is very attractive.

The building has extensive sidewalk landscaping that continues into the building's lightwell where it has an entrance.

The building has fire-escapes.

Amenities

The building has a bicycle room and a live-in superintendent and allows pets.
