The 18-story tower will have about 6,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, which has reportedly been leased to a bank, and 24 condos starting on the second floor with no more than two units per floor.
In late August 2025, developer ZD Jasper signed a $67.5 million construction loan with Madison Realty for 171 East 86th Street, its forthcoming tower on a former Papaya King site on the Upper East Side. There will be 24 condo units, with no more than two per floor, and completion is estimated for late 2026.
